She's most certainly referring to the road.

One of those is a mango which you have now insulted by calling it a papaya. I'd pack mangoes and papayas all around our bicycles if there weren't fruit sniffing dogs at the airport in the U.S. One time a little dog sniffed out a banana I forgot I had in my daypack. Glad he found it actually.

My apologies. You’re right. There are only two so far, and one was peeled not split. I ‘m not sure where I got that impression.

Say, why don’t you bring one home at the end of the trip, and let it shrivel? It would go great with that cantaloupe.

OK, I'm not going back to count how many times I've posted a photo of a cut open papaya (I think just once!) but I'm now committed to taking a photo of every papaya I cut open for the rest of the trip. It will be a photo gallery first at the end of our trip.

Good point. But you know what? The days over here all seem to be about the same length any time of year. The sun goes down very early, like 6PM everyday I've ever been over here which means we are close enough to the equator that days and nights are about the same length year round.

I love the trust and honesty here — in this picture. I can’t stop thinking about it. This journal has been such a revelation and joy to follow. Thank you!

I can see that in Andreas eyes. Thank you for posting such amazing honest and beautiful observations — both of you.

But December 20 is one of the shortest days 👍🏻

Bruce you didn’t leave a note suggesting they dry their nails elsewhere and, oh, have a nice day?

That was our road today also. But, warm, Mexico, jungle, birds,....not so awful really.
