Bruce Lellman replied to a comment by Mark Lellman on a photo in Bangkok

Bangkok has changed tremendously in just the last few years. It's incredible how much the Thai government is spending on infrastructure. And it's paying off already.

But, wait, you read all about OTOP a few posts back so what happened to your memory? Or, maybe you mean you looked up OTOP in our journal a few posts back.

Bruce Lellman replied to a comment by Gregory Garceau on Devouring Like Wolves

Okay, you got me. And how astute of you to know that. Yes, many times this trip when we have been really in the middle of nowhere I've often thought of that Number 8 Coffee place and wished something similar would suddenly appear. It was the most peaceful coffee house ever.

This Phu Pha place had a different kind of beauty which I appreciated but you are right, the Number 8 fit my personality better. More driftwoody organic. Phu Pha was more snazzy, upscale.

Bruce Lellman replied to a comment by Scott Anderson on But Wait, Before We Leave Isaan Behind

I've always wondered what it was like in this part of Thailand - Isaan. I always knew there were lots of ancient Khmer sites but I didn't know much about what the countryside looked like. It's been fun. As many times as I've been in Thailand, there still are other regions I've never seen.

I channel Ron often. And sometimes I just don't have to. I guess you are right Lisa; Brothers in Humor.

When I read this post I swear I was hearing Ron's voice saying your words, Bruce. Then of course it WAS Ron who had commented. Brothers in humor!
