6 months agoHave you ever stay in a train car converted to a motel room? We stayed in a caboose in Canada on my birthday. It was in a hostel, $20. per bunk. I had to play the birthday card to get the guys to stay there. It was memorable for all of the wrong reasons. Whenever I want to stay someplace unique, they remind me of the caboose! There were a couple of train car opportunities for this summer's tour - we didn't take even one. Price was a consideration - forget the $20. a bunk, these were $3-400. a night!

6 months agoMaybe that’s an idea for a future tour? Go to towns named after some other place?
