Curt & Helene Reed commented on Day 3 - Port Clinton to (almost) Oak Harbor loop

After 3 long days of driving and 2 good days of riding, I think you were entitled to rest.. You can also sleep in in a.m. and go out when it is warmer

Good idea, maybe we'll do that.

This is a beautiful building. It is good to see these old courthouses preserved.

When you get to 50, you should have a vote for the nicest courthouse. Its amazing how much civic pride and effort went into constructing those old buildings.

Time to relax, take it easy as a good break, enjoy the scenery!

This Ottawa Courthouse is beautiful! It reminds me somehow it is like
a castle when I toured Europe Years ago. The design & materials used signifies it will last a LONG time! The young generation now will very much appreciate this building as they grow up.

It is good to see people out enjoying our common home. The picture didn't capture the number of people out in the river fishing, There were more folks in the water than on the banks.

Thanks, Jacques and Lise. I don't know about forever young, but as long as bike touring is more fun than staying home, we'll be on the road.

I know you completely understand how good it feels to get on the road after months of planning. Now we need to get our bodies as ready to ride as our brains!
We were a little disappointed in the North Coast Inland Trail. There was really nothing to see and so many unpaved and on road sections, it would have been easier to just stay on the main road the whole way.

So refreshing to see the river being used for what it should be! ( further negative comments on reality are purposely being withheld) …
