Kerry, having a photographer onboard is a dream! Funny how we get use to that ~ someone else doing the documentation as we try to navigate! Safety first!

As you saw, we visited the Horry County Museum, housed in a beautiful old school building. On the way, we walked through an area of very nice old homes. We have stayed in Conway before, but never visited downtown. We did enjoy it. My biggest early memory of Conway is driving through it on the way to the beach from Charlotte in the 60's. Conway was where the traffic started backing up on summer weekends!

Thanks, Keith. I saw it coming and got out of his way. He was more of a jerk than a threat.

It was Kerry helping the turtle. Jeanna is driving the car to Seattle. I (Kerry) am doing the cycling and the blogging. So, all these posts are mine this year. Jeanna doesn't mind having a break from writing the journal for this tour :-).
