We use to anchor our sailboat (Matoaka) right in this picture. Enjoyed meeting you and hope to follow some. Charlie and Cathy

That maneuver sure looks familiar! I'm surprised the panniers fit through the narrow opening.

I visited the Easton/Saint Michael's area a few years ago, and I agree the roads are fantastic for cycling. Another nice ride from Saint Michael's is continuing on more towards the south and heading down to Tilghman Island. Lots of pretty scenery and the views of the Chesapeake Bay when you get down there are great.

Thanks for the suggestion. We're not going to Tilghman Island this year. We did ride there is 2019 and liked it very much.

We stayed in this area a couple of years ago for a family reunion. It's a great biking area.

Oh, too bad. Sounds like a wonderful route but we're in Harrington, Delaware now (south of Dover) and leaving for the DC area tomorrow. We'll be there for 3 weeks before moving to Lancaster and the Finger Lakes. We do have to be in Ohio on July 17 to have work done on the trailer at the factory.

Thanks, Rich. I'm glad you're enjoying it. We had no idea how good the cycling was on the Delmarva peninsula until we visited Fenwick Island, DE three years ago. We have a few more days here to tell you about before we take the ferry to New Jersey.

We're going to Chestertown, Cheasapeake City, Dover next. We'll be taking the ferry to Cape May after that.

Too bad we couldn't hook up in Cambridge. Where do you go after Easton?

I think this must be the first bike journal I've ever read that covers Delaware! I'm enjoying it!

Hi Linda,
Thanks for your comment. After we met you, we looked back at our travel notes and saw we did spend two nights in Ste Adele in August, 2017 at a B&B Le Clair Matin Sante. We liked your town.
