Thanks for sharing the photo. My daughter loves lighthouses.
3 years agoCaught up on your journal and am sorry I did not do it sooner as you passed within 4 miles of my house when you went through Corunna . You missed a neat historic village just a couple of blocks from the courthouse . You are in a nice area of the state all the way down the coastline toward Detroit . Safe travels .

3 years agoDuckweed! Thanks, Bill, for teaching me something new once again. I looked more closely at more of this stuff which we saw yesterday and I could tell it was tiny leaves when I knew what I was looking at.
3 years agoProbably duckweed. Only one layer thick. Interesting stuff, but kind of a pain to fish in it.

Thanks, Keith, but Kerry actually took this one.
3 years agoKeith,
No drought. In fact there has been quite a bit of severe weather and some local flooding recently. We have been so fortunate in that we have either been behind the rain, or it has rained at night, and we have had beautiful weather while we're riding.
Kerry
Beautiful weather it looks like.
