Thanks, Francie. It was amazing. I hope you and Ken are doing well and not too busy. Maybe some time we can have a mini tandem rally somewhere with you guys and Tom and Jane.

That's a total of 89 barns this trip
Thanks for all the great pictures. (not just the barns)

Thanks for the link. We had never heard of this guy. It's an amazing feat, but like you, the appeal of such an undertaking eludes me!
Thank you too, Bill, for all the responses to our plant questions. We appreciate your taking the time to educate us - especially when you have to repeat information that you've shared with us in the past!

Thank you, Kathleen. Kerry is with you, he's not ready for the tour to be over either! He could really do as the Andersons and some others and be a homeless bicycle vagabond. I'm not not up for that, but we'll be back on the road before long.

I agree with Kathleen. I’m not ready for this adventure to be over! You two are just amazing on so many levels. I’ll miss you!

Well, ending here in Ohio you might (or not) have heard about Dayton local Joe Lawhorn, who trashed the world record for 24 hour bike distance by over 15 miles! He's a member of the Southwest Ohio Cyclists facebook group that I belong to. Otherwise I probably would have never known. Or even known there was such a world record.

Not sure I'd have ever wanted to ride for 24 consecutive hours... let alone, fast as I could!

Sorry, I’m not done with your tour yet. Please keep pedaling. Thank you. 😂

Hi Kerry, this is a nice picture of you & the baby goat. Good souvenir.
They are friendly.

I used to milking the goats we have when I was growing up. My mother boiled the milk before we drank it.

Wow! A nice place to eat under the shade of the tree and cool breeze. NICE!

If this tower is dated from the 1800's it could be a 'shot tower'...where molten lead was dropped to produce lead shot for muskets. Although it does look a little too tall for this purpose and the majority were round not square.

Seed corn. Detasseling is done so the pollen of the other line of genetics planted next to it is the only one to pollinate that few rows. If it was pollinated by its own genetic line, the desired characteristics of the cross-pollination would not turn out.
