I love old boats; you have to wonder their history.

5 years agoIt was great to meet you at Mill River! We finished our (much more humble) Confederation Trail tip-to-tip on Thursday. Hopefully we can connect next time we are in Florida! Happy travels! -Stacey & Jeff Baker (NH)

I'm using your system of taking a day off a week and reserving places ahead of time due to riding near Sturgis during the motorcycle rally when all parts near will be filled. After my fifth broken spoke it was time for a new wheel here in Brookings and I was able to shift our day off to today and we will only spend one night in Howard instead of two. Just want to let you know we are taking advantage of your system and so far it is working out for us! I wish I could post our maps but I guess I need a computer to do it!
Keith,
Jeanna thinks that they have the best soft serve she's ever had here on PEI. There is one dairy on the island (ADL Dairy. ADL is a Co-op owned by all the dairy farmers on PEI) and we think they provide the mix to everyone, because no matter where we went, it was all great.
Kerry
Rich,
We started out with lightly used tires and just replaced them about 900 miles ago. We got about 3300 miles on that set - they still had tread left, but we blew out a sidewall as we wrote about previously.
Hopefully, the current set will get us to Buffalo, but I'm carrying 2 worn spares just in case.

Kerry
Lou,
IT IS!!!!
Kerry
Keith,
You're right. I keep thinking to myself, "What are the odds"
Kerry
Keith,
That's the nice thing about PEI. There are lots or road like this. When you're on one, it makes for a very relaxing ride and allows you to take in the sights.
Kerry
Dave,
What surprises me is how much I'm learning about Canadian/U.S. history (especially conflicts) that I've never heard about before.
I'm glad that my system helped you. I am just too lazy to travel without definite plans. I hate the idea of having to spend the time and effort to find a place at the end of a riding day. Our planned days off give us all the flexibility we need. I hope your new wheel will get you home. After all these months, you guys don't have too far to go now, do you? Happy pedaling!
