Barry, thanks for following along. Just finishing up now. Be sure to look at the next day for a picture of one of your favourite past times.

1 year agoGreat tour! We love Tuscany even more. Thanks for sharing!
1 year agoDelicious. What a fab spot to end up at on your trip!
1 year agoWow - finally found a place that the Fenwicks got to before the Andersons! We are seriously considering a long term stay here. There is a lot to see nearby, some good hiking, swimming spots, riding up the hills behind the town also looks good - and not to mention it is on a train line. Good for a couple of weeks in a shoulder season?
1 year agoYou make a convincing case. I’ve never heard of Bonasolla but it looks worth stitching into a plan. Nice that your guide came through for you this time.
1 year agoIf you swim in the Pacific or the Atlantic like you and Steve it is positively balmy. Really once the initial shiver, you could stay in for an hour. Beautiful swimming but I forgot my goggles and the water is so salty. It really stings my eyes. Yes, Cinque Terre is definitely worth a visit.
1 year agoThe villages are all spectacular, but there’s no place like Vernazza. I’d love to see it again.
1 year agoIsn’t Cinque Terre beautiful? What a full day you had. What was the water temperature like Scott?
1 year agoIndeed - a truly memorable experience. But I'm pretty sure Pat never wore a bike helmet while teaching her students in Canada!

1 year agoHappy belated birthday, Scott!
1 year agoIt was a very nice wild boar meat sauce with pappardella pasta.
1 year agoIt was a nice grill lamb with potatoes and zucchini.

Wow, what a great Italian holiday ! Spectacular views and cool little towns everyday and the rolling hills didn't seem that hard. I'd never been to Tuscany until now so thanks for taking me along. Time to come home to the forest fires.
