Phil & Ann are really curious and interested in your route and how you planned itβ¦.so plan on writing a good email re that (and how many eagles you saw) once home. ππ»ππ»
1 year agoYea for your wonderful experience and happy you took the wagon ride around the island.....you hear from locals doing that, and see much more than if you were on your own. Just love the selfies you take! And....was just wondering what must have been written on the back of Hubs' jacket as the woman behind him on the ferry appeared horrified. :-) Here's to the two of you for taking a day to relax and enjoy life on Mackinac Island!! And now you can look forward to the outdoor shower and privy. (!!)

Blessings to you on your special day tomorrow........we hope you LOVE every minute of it!! It's a special place and you deserve a day of soaking it all up. Love the fact that I got 'ol Hub addicted to the Eagle -- not everyone totally understands or applauds it, but it brings some of us together!! And the smile DID appear -- woot! woot! Wishing you a most terrific day tomorrow. Sleep in, have a great breakfast and walk in the sand.
Ann and Phil
Looks like tomorrow (or Thursday) you will reach your sweet spot (Mackinac Island) β¦..ππ»ππ»β¦.will be anxious to hear about it! We loved itβ¦.and suspect you will as well! Phil thinks those cute birds are cranes; actually saw them on a front lawn in Madison, WI today! They are skinnier than eaglesβ¦..in case Gary was wondering. So not as powerful, no doubt. So hoping the island trip is GLORIOUS! Soak it up!

1 year agoWe do have the maps but we donβt follow the routes lot of times. Itβs just an adventure for us and not a strict thing.
1 year agoJust what I thought! I've been following David's ride too.
1 year agoYou have generally been following a lot of the Northern Tier route, but you obviously aren't on the ACA route. Their routing is designed to keep you off the busier roads as much as possible. For example, look at the map from my journal of the day from Conrad to Cut Bank. https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/warriordeath1/day-64-conrad-mt-to-cut-bank-mt/ I know it's too late for you now, but you may want to order their maps when you are researching future routes. Best of luck as you finish this tour.
