Another exhausting day for you — but full of connections again with genuine people. This is the Gift of this adventure: friendship with people you don’t know yet will go the extra mile for you. You’ve commented frequently about all those you’ve met, how genuine and friendly and caring they are. Has it occurred to you that perhaps YOU two are the magnet?
Perhaps you are the gift…..to others.❤️

Used to know a really (REALLY) old song that we crooned each morning at the local pool before we began teaching swim lessons: “Beautiful morning glory, Kissed and caressed by the dew. Beautiful morning glory, good morning glory to you.” Phil thinks the flowers growing amongst the corn are morning glories. Now there’s a nugget of music trivia for you!
And….was Hubs ‘really’ waving on the pic???!? Thought it wreaked like an Eagle….but maybe he was just being nice.. ?
Another state!!! Woohoo!

Looks like a decent trail; thank goodness since it was off & on misting. I wouldn’t have done well on the grated bridge. 🥺. Hoping old Lee, the hurricane, makes an abrupt turn to the East so you don’t have to bear the results of wet and windy weather. Safe travels tomorrow! (We are helping out at our daughter’s near Milwaukee while she is in NYC; Spencer has his first day of 4K tomorrow—and rides a bus home. Gr & Gr will be waiting at the drop-off corner….relieved to see him!)

I am not sure how long it will take us to bike home. I think we have almost 600 miles to go. We also have to keep an eye on Hurricane Lee even though right now it looks like it won’t hit land but they can change course very quickly.
1 year ago12 hours in a UHaul — ugh! But you will finish your journey via bike and that will feel good. Wondering how many days are you guessing it will take? The photos of the friends is touching: nothing like good friends. (And the Eagle even appeared!!!)
Wishing you continued safe travels.

Just terrific pictures! Love them!
Hoping today was a good day! Back in the saddle. See, there’s another song you guys can sing as you pedal along…
