Shoot. Too bad we didn’t see this earlier as we would had a picture of us enjoying a beer and a delicious peach and vodka drink that Maggie made for me.

And we are sitting on our screened porch with sangria ….awaiting your journal entry tonight. Wondering if it was as hot for you today; did get to 86 here but less humidity which greatly helped. Wanted to send a pic but can’t seem to do it…so try to get a visual of two old duffers holding stainless wine glasses and viewing a field of wild flowers and thousands of Queen Anne’s Lace!

And I suspect these are bellflowers.

Garden flowers are always suspect... I suspect these might be coneflowers.

We are so proud of your progress! And your photos are spectacular; it makes us feel like we are right there with you (wish we were, actually).
Hoping you find a couple of pasties because they are yummy! Here’s to a great day tomorrow….and maybe you’ll see an Eagle!! We can hope!!

You know I have all the equipment necessary to make your IPA. It’s yours if you want it! Talk when you get home.

Nice. This will be a way to keep in touch. We keep telling people how quickly we had this great connection and have passed along the”Eagle” to other people. It sure is something that makes people laugh. 😊

Ann and Phil have signed up now and will follow your blog -- we thought of you several times today and we wondered 'where you might be', so this will allow us to keep track of you. It looks like the weather will be good for you throughout this week so your riding should be good -- sorry about the climbs; that's the story of much of Wisconsin. Know we feel we found kindred spirits when we ran into you two.....you are always welcome at our house: the Eagle will be ready: five times more powerful than the bird, you know. :-)
