Popular moon tonight--lots of pictures in social media with the crescent moon and the planet nearby (relatively speaking). Nice to know in this "big" world, we are all connected in our admiration of such beautiful things that all of us can see in the same night. :-)

That's some good negotiating skills--down to 0 from $7 per bike! Not mentioned: Terre Haute is home of federal penitentiary. Don't pick up anyone wearing an orange jumpsuit...

Dames rocket. Often mistaken for phlox, but it only has 4 petal flowers instead of 5 petals found on phlox. Invasive, but edible if you want some free greens or flowers to eat.

Gear is important to John so he curls up on the side of the bed.

Looks like horsetails. Can’t kill them. They grow everywhere. I’ve seen them on the GAP trail. We had them in Wisconsin and We have them in the Pacific Northwest. I’d guess they were here before the dinosaurs. Just guessing.

With all of the equipment on the bed, where does John sleep?

Love the goats and the barns. Not so much the butter milk. I remember NO such raw hamburger sandwiches! Mom nibbled on raw hamburger every time she made burgers and meatloaf as long as she lived.
Love you Mom!
