A snake bite flat in the wrong part of the tube when installing a new tube? Can it be you're using your tire levers to install the tire? That's a recipe for trouble, that is!

Ha! Yeah, I get it every year several times when I pull it. Just got over some a few weeks back because I was careless. Learned what it was when I was probably about 3 and my mom carefully showed me the cause of my misery. Something I never forgot! That would have been about 1949.

Northern Illinois had some nice trails when I rode there in 2019. Hennepin Canal Parkway Trail. I was able to ride it peacefully for 25 miles as I left Moline.
