I think it must be Firefox related. I tested with Google Chrome and had no problems with the format. Thanks for the tip.
2 weeks agoThanks, Janice! On this tour, and on almost all tours, l had my mirrorless Sony Nex 6 with me, the lens is a Tamron 18-200mm. It fits comfortably in a small handlebar bag. The Nex 6 is an older model and with its smaller sensor doesn't do too well in low light, but I love it for travel. There's a picture of it on this page. https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/october24/markt-indersdorf-to-pfaffenhofen/#56187_fr7441z4ubl0e1s6cihd9tukze2
I also process all my pictures before posting them. It makes a difference, especially when you can't count on good light when traveling.
That's interesting. I use Firfox, too. I'll give it a try with Chrome. It only happens in the text, not in comments or picture subtitles. And only with CycleBlaze.

2 weeks agoSuzanne - I've been having the same formatting problems on my Mac desktop computer. I found the same workaround you did, but it only works sometimes for me. I wonder if the browser is at the root of the problem. I use Firefox.
2 weeks agoWe have the Sena helmets in bright blue and they are indeed awesome. So nice to be able to talk at a normal volume while riding.

Ooh-wee that's a big lens. I have a habit of shooting from the saddle with the phone camera, then using Google's photo editing options to fix them up. I suppose that's processing for dummies. Clearly you know what you're doing. Congrats on powering through your wintry tour.
