That article was interesting. I had no idea you could grind the beans and make a flour. Thanks!

Yes! Recent rains have greened them up and they are popping bright yellow flowers, which will turn to fuzzy little white seed balls, some are visible.

Definitely a mushroom, brought out by recent rains. Could not find a good image match.

Well, he could be right about that although many of the people we've met in campgrounds that have Dodge Rams - 2500 or 3500 and Ford 250's or 350's have thought their brand was comfortable to ride in. Just like a car ride. And one woman said that the air suspension in the Dodge trucks really helped. We could feel that to a certain degree. Not sure that it's worth an additional $30,000 or more to buy that one!

No, our 27 ft trailer is heavy. Empty it is 6600 lbs but the tongue weight adds another 1000 lbs. You have to add the weight of gear, people in the truck etc. etc to figure out the total payload capacity needed. We've weighed both the truck and trailer, loaded on a CAT scale. Our towing capacity is a little over 10,000 lbs.

So no, a big SUV would not have the towing capacity we need. Plus it wouldn't have a bed to store things like our generators, propane bottles, grill etc etc. Plus we put the tandem in the bed when we drive to the start of rides. You'd have to put a rack on an SUV which you can't do if you have a rack on the back when you have a hitch.

Nice idea, but not workable for us. We'll have to do more thinking on the truck. At least our Tundra works well, tows well - even up mountain passes.

I think all of the sunsets in Tucson have been spectacular because of all of the clouds. Some sunrises too.

I wondered if that was the type, but these cacti can be so similar looking.
