I've been following your last several days with great interest. Jacinto isn't so sure about that kayak ride, but I'm all in on riding across this aqueduct! We will be heading roughly west/east and it looks like you are going north/south, but we have a little room to play and you've had some wonderful photos! Head on over to Venice and check that out for us?

5 months agoIt's our favorite thing to do too. After a long day on the bikes, what ending is better than sitting in a town square, have a relaxing drink and watch the world go by. Bliss.

You definitely have the right priorities; gelato then lunch.
Definitely a windmill.
5 months agoI love when it pours rain at night and we are warm and dry in a cozy room. Often bodes well for blue skies in the morning.

5 months agoWe will be telling the story for years. We have moderate kayak skills but we certainly aren’t knowledgeable about how to read rapids. These weren’t performance kayaks either. The concern we had was we were jammed on the top of the rock at 90° to the current. As soon as the other kayak hit and dislodged us we had to get the kayak facing downstream in a hurry. Two people paddling with a purpose!

Arles, one of our favourite places. If memory serves their market days are Wednesday and Saturday. Worth checking out if you are there.
