4 months agoAl always “lets” me do all the route planning so it can never be his fault it turns out harder than expected. I enjoy it, though. The hardest part is cramming it in to the time allotted. I want to go everywhere!

4 months agoHi Barry - they are both Arcteryx. Expensive but worth it . I like the hig hood that you goes over the helmet which you can zip right up. Kathleen’s first one started to fray at the hood after 5 years. They replaced it free of charge. It’s my 2nd one too. I didn’t need to replace it but couldn’t resist a 50% discount and liked the color. Safe travels in Japan!.

I am thinking that is a very good policy. When we do our planning, such as it is, we are always way to optimistic about how much ground we can cover and the result of that is trains. Trains are nerve racking!
