The roads could be better with less traffic or smoother surface. We will see

Yes Margaret. One of the other riders spotted it for me. It is bizarre

Did you see the space ship house on your way in to Pensacola? I know, there is more than one way, but msybe. It was quite bizarre.

I am not really enjoying the weather either. It may get warmer in the next days, but maybe more rain

Hey Stan, On our way south. Hit snow in Richmond but are clear now. Will you be riding on 98 or closer to I 10 coming across the panhandle? Navarre Beach is wonderful!

Hi Stan, When our group rode the Southern Tier in 2019, we stayed at the same campground in Itchetucknee Springs where you are staying. We stayed in the cabins, which were pretty basic but they had heaters in them. Seeing the springs there was a highlight of the Florida section of the ride. Johnny G. and one of the other riders went over to see the springs, got lost in the woods on the way back to the campground and almost missed dinner!

A fruitful bird-watching outing!
Do you have compact binoculars with you, or was this naked eye bird watching?

That is a handsome bike. It boggles the mind that someone would attempt a cross-country ride without a test ride after unpacking the bike...

You're being quite humble here; I think you've gone cross-country at least twice before, right? ;-)

Jeremy Zorns commented on What about me?

I always wondered what it would feel like to have creaky joints. My right knee is also iffy at times, so I'm getting a taste of it.
