Huh. It worked six years ago! Maybe it’s clearer eastbound. Do you have a spare day to bike out tomorrow and check it out?

1 year agoThat is so awesome. The pronunciation of Millau “Me Yo” was a revelation to us. No wonder people hadn’t a clue when we said we were riding to “Mill Ooo”. Heading to the website now 👍
1 year agoDid you know you can look up the pronunciation of most place names on PronounceNames.com? There’s a short YouTube clip for most places of significance.
1 year agoIt is always interesting to me that when I know what is coming, it is easier. It was sure worth the climb for the views though. It is a beautiful part of France. Absolutely gorgeous and no one around. I am still not sure how to pronounce Hérault though! I keep forgetting to ask.

1 year agoThank you to you both. This guy had fallen in the sink and may have been a good runner but found climbing the sides of the sink impossible. Gave us lots of time to watch him.
1 year agoWell then, I'll look forward to following you whenever you come back for Mallorca, or really anywhere. It's funny how our contemporaneous wanderings in this land with you and other CB chums almost feel like we're traveling together. We'll hope for a meetup somewhere down the road.

1 year agoI am a sucker for roses growing on a stone wall. One of the things I adore in France.
1 year agoThey are very protective, as you very well know. It is unnerving to have them barking at you from behind a fence.
1 year agoGreat memories for us of the many times we have had tractor races while cycle touring in France. They travel at a similar speed but we go faster on the downhills. They pass us on the up hills.
