The scale of it was so hard to describe and it was so much fun. I walked around just amazed.

11 months agoHi Mike - Yes they are e-assist. Sitting beside 2 of the competitors at dinner the other nite we learned that they compete on a route designed specially for ebikes with grades of up to 20%. He told me his heart rate was at 190/minute for over an hour during the competition if I recall correctly. We are really sorry we were late for the competition and missed it. The competition was the 2023 WES UCI E-MTB
XC World Cup Girona.
That sounds like quite the bike show. We cycled the Lake Banyoles loop also it was enjoyable but not the highlight of our trip. Enjoy your day exploring Girona we did.

11 months agoLake Banyoles where Silken Laumman won a Bronze Medal in singles in 92 and the women’s teams won 3 gold medals 🏅🏅🏅 there.
