We did not particularly "like" the event either. Amazing how adrenalin can give you strength, even with a cracked rib Mom was able to lift the bike and rescue Dad.

Our ride from Sintra to Lisbon was one of the favourites of the tour. Once we got to Cascais it was mostly bike path all the way into Lisbon primarily along the water, and primarily flat.

A lot of the hills here are super steep. Walking, or Steve walking both bikes up one at a time while Dodie trudges up solo, seems to do it for us.
