I think the highlight was the house-made crispy shell. Most places I've had fish tacos serve them on soft tortillas. It really was a special treat.
1 year agoYou got me scratching my head (and the huge welt on my leg) over that one!
1 year agoYou're right. I really enjoyed today's scenery, but I think I could have enjoyed it so much more if it was about 10-degrees cooler.
1 year agoYes, and it's entirely possible that my error resulted in nicer scenery than the intended route. At least, that's what I'd like to think.
1 year agoJust to let you know, I posted a reply to your comment about the dismal shoulder/rumble strip situation, but forgot to hit the "reply to" button.
1 year agoThanks for the correction. I should have known by its wasp-like figure. I think maybe the only reason I didn't get stung is that they were more interested in the wine than me. Plus, I did save a couple of their fellow wasps from drowning.
1 year agoYou got that right, Steve. Incredibly, a little further up the road, that shoulder got even narrower and the rumbles were placed right on the white line. I didn't get a picture of that.
1 year agoHi,
One of my favorite spots in southern MN. Actually, the area south of Cleveland is quite nice in the summer, if you don’t mind the bugs.
Cheers,
Keith
It really does look good!
1 year agoCongratulations, tough guy!
1 year agoSo strange to have a place named Waterville in this state. Why here?
1 year agoAt least it’s pretty!
1 year agoWasps, not bees. They are generally nasty, agressive little buggers, but especially so when summer is drawing to a close. Hope you were not stung.
1 year agoWhoever the idiot was who thought these were a good idea was definitely NOT a cyclist.
