Grasshoppers or cattails? A horrible choice of meal to have to make.
1 year agoYes, very inconvenient.
1 year agoHi,
I cleverly didn’t say what any of the interesting sights might be because a: I haven’t been in Mankato for 19 years, and a lot has changed, and b: I’m getting old and forgetful. In fact apart from the hills and roads very little of what you showed was there 19 years ago. No bison, no Mankato beer, no giant blob on the campus. Not even the hotel where you are staying was there. I do enjoy the pictures, though .
Cheers,
Keith
Nope. Never saw that when I was there.
1 year agoI'm lucky, and may be charming, but that's as far as it goes. Now Cap'n Crunch, on the other hand, got me through college.
1 year agoNice to see someone able to re-jigger a tour when faced with certain inconvenient truths. Well done.
1 year agoMy time in Yellowstone last year convinced me that bicycles are not a good match for bison. Good choice.
1 year agoYou could eat those instead of the cattails.
1 year agoI'm going to go with neither raw NOR fried. Eat them at your own risk.
1 year agoJon, the town really did have some nice looking buildings. In the past, I've only sped through it in my car on the high speed interstate highway. As everybody on Cycleblaze knows, bikes are the way to go.
1 year agoThank you, Rocky. The Feeshko and I appreciate all of the comments here on Cycleblaze about Diggity. We also look forward to maybe seeing you before you guys fly off to Spain.
1 year agoThey're so huge. When I first caught sight of them in the corner of my eye. I thought they might be deer.
1 year agoI thought every kid of our generation was a Lucky Charms guy.
1 year agoGood to know! I saw a few by the trail just last week. I’ll have to go check one out. Which is better - raw, or fried?

That’s really great against the flowers. No idea what the butterfly is, but Bill might have a clue. Probably another endangered species, like those corn dogs.
