Keith Klein commented on A First Day That Was Almost Too Easy

Hi,
I moi at cows and bark at dogs, too. Did you know that French dogs say « ouaf »? Cows say « meu ». My wife thinks I’m weird.
Cheers,
Keith

Hi,
You could start by translating « Gautemalan  ». Your typewriter lacked a spell checker, I guess.
Cheers,

Hi Greg,
Well I would have noticed your glaring error of confusing east with west, especially because in southern Minnesota we all know that trees grow WILD in the east while we on the prairie had to plant each and every one of our trees, that is if you don’t count cottonwoods and I for one don’t ‘cause they only grow along the creeks and what use are they anyway? But I’m looking forward to the rest of the story mostly to see if you really were as big of a doofus as you say, which might be a bit of an exaggeration. I’ll be watchin’.
Cheers,
Keith

Suzanne, you are lucky to be multilingual. I wish I was. I only have the ability to translate from strange English to weird English. Thanks for writing and I hope my translation is at least readable.

I hear ya, Marilyn. I sorely need a project like this to brighten MY day too. We are in the midst of a long deep freeze here in Minnesota. I haven't seen anything above 5-degrees (F) in nearly a week and every night has been well below zero. That's not even mentioning the wind-chill factor. That has been limiting my bike riding to less than an hour per day, so what else am I going to do other than work on an old bike journal? Thank you for your nice message.

I usually hate to read anything in translation when I can read the original - this will be an exception! I am looking forward to the revised version of your tour - I mean trip.

Looking forward to reading another of your journals, Greg! They always brighten my day, something that is sorely needed right now.

Oh, Bob, the very fact that you sent me this very nice message might get you the boot.

A few months ago on Cycle365 I hinted at possibly writing up this tour, but I don't remember exactly where. I'm just glad I finally got around to it. I think it's going to be fun.

This is pretty much the best news I've gotten today. I am very much looking forward to reading this. I'm feeling a little left out that I was never kicked off of CGOAB. Perhaps it was because I never posted journals there...

Thanks, Rocky, but probably not any more than I am looking forward to what you guys are gonna do next.

Cool. I'd hate it if some of your entertaining journals were lost forever :)

Thank you very much for the offer, Jeff, but I'm OK. I have all my journals posted on Cycle Blaze, and I have print versions of most of my articles. I was mostly referring to the stuff I had on the other Topicwise sites. I had quite a lot on the Cooking, Bicycle Life, Hiking, and Paddling topics, but nothing of any serious importance.

Hey Gregory,

I'm pretty sure that your journals can still be acquired, and then uploaded here, if you want.

If you are interested, send me an email (jwaynelee66 at gmail dot com).
