The church is undergoing repairs? From your photo, it appears to be the building to the left. Unless, this is the “newer church” which already needs repairs, despite the older church, which is still standing and looks to be in fine shape..

Oh my, what a change

So do I. It took a long time for me to decide that the zocalo was the same plaza. There is a big renovation project blocking off both sides and there are a lot of trees that didn’t used to be there

I have great memories of Christmas Eve 1976 in the plaza with you. Little kids all dressed up, balloons, mariachi music. . .

Is the orange color structure a temporary foot traffic bridge or a crane ? It actually appears to come out from the tree on the right side. Interesting angle and structure!
