I agree. Great map. We've had the pleasure of cycling along a few of these in our time.
6 months agoNice work, Susan! You got up into the Vosges!
6 months agoAwesome.....you NEVER see this kind of stuff here in Vancouver, sadly.
6 months agoDunno about you, but I’m not ready for it to be over. Thanks for all the cool rides you took us along on.
6 months agoThat's weird....before reading your last paragraph, I was going to mention that you are very near Thibaut Pinot's home. He's a farmer with goats!
6 months agoYou're exploring territory that we wish we had more time to explore this past summer. Looks gorgeous.
6 months agoThank you for all of your wonderful photos and stories, Susan! I do hope your return to NC will not bring any unwanted surprises due to the storms.
6 months agoAww…does this mean the journal is coming to an end? I’m so sad! I’ve really enjoyed following along on your adventures this year. I hope you do it again soon!
6 months agoHave a good trip back and fun planning next year's European sojourn. Hope we see you in 2025.
6 months agoI loved digging up this photo and remembering that day - it was the first day of the "quintet" Burgundy trip, one of favorite weeks on tour
6 months agoIt really was a special afternoon, and well worth all the fast-changing logistics to make it happen.
6 months agoGlad you could laugh! I do think Keith's long arms may give you two a slight advantage - and your reflection selfies are always fun
6 months agoHi Patrick - sorry to take so long to reply. The area does offer a lot for cyclists and hikers as well. There are some great roads and cycle paths, and I regret not doing a bit more route planning/taking more time - it was a last-minute tour that was necessarily short.
6 months agoYou have made me laugh too. Keith and I are always reduced to laughter when we attempt a selfie. We try, but the results are usually hilarious.
