This is an interesting discussion. Yes, ebikes will have a huge impact on train travel which train companies will have to adapt to. No hanging on hooks, for a starter.

I see that badminton is on the schedule at the Olympics today! We’ll expect a report.

Unlike you, we’ve been noticing that, in most of the accommodations we stayed in this year that offered (and usually charged for) a buffet breakfast, there was a notice posted about not taking food from the breakfast room. So we didn’t. In places where food was brought to our table, just for us, we sometimes did, but I was travelling with Al and there wasn’t always anything left to take.
