2 years agoIt really was great fun. I'd had several picnics on Champs de Mars but always in the daytime. The evening picnic waiting for the lights to come on and sparkle is definitely the way to go.

In my ignorance I have always referred to them as "Belgian Percherons" though I now understand they are separate breeds.
Thanks for the tip Jacquie - the opening on the cover was about 1/3 the width of the duvet and my solution was to fold the duvet in thirds
