Glad to see that you did ride the Route de La Corniche - in my 2019 post you thought you went thru the tunnel instead. A great ride that really hooked me

It was photos like this that made me desperate to tour in France again, specifically in Scott Anderson's French Alps 2015 journal (https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/geneva2015/), which I read soon after getting home from our first European tour in 23 years, in 2015.

There’s a sweetness in revisiting old friends.

And here! I recognized that split pasture immediately. It looked much different in the spring though: https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/bordeaux2008/to-saint-antonin-noble-val/#25705_rr46vau07mszsaf06o2o8ye3ggl.

I kept a very poor journal from our ride here, but I’m sure we were here too: https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/bordeaux2008/to-saint-antonin-noble-val/#25705_wtnintxsu4rzvyc8nx6xwjmqfs0.

Isn’t it great to have the sun back?

This looks like a spectacular day. I have wonderful but very vague memories of our own ride through here 15 years ago. If we ever make it back to the gorges we’ll definitely come to the Averyron again.

Thanks Lucy for the nagging and nice comment

I’m returning to NC on Nov 5 in time to vite - wouldn’t miss it!! I’m registered there and maybe there is a chance to flip
I can only imagine how crazy your life is now. Are you getting all those disruptive poll volunteers?
Hang in there

I had to study the picture for a minute to get that "Minnesota is expecting" joke. Good one.

I have a friend who is amazing at finding shapes & likenesses in rock formations, trees, clouds, etc. You seem to have the same skill.

Susan, not to be *that* nagging friend but have you made arrangements for voting in November? If you have, please disregard. If you haven’t, go to https://www.fvap.gov/

Beautiful pictures!
