1 year agoI thought it might be a jack-in-the-pulpit - wrong, but related. I'm not much of a botanist but we had them in the woods in New Jersey where I grew up.
1 year agoI expect that’s it. The more advanced examples I saw had the arrowhead leaves. I can’t imagine having it in one’s garden, though, due to its flower’s resemblance to skunk cabbage (which isn’t the same genus).

1 year agoI rode the first pitch and walked the second and decided that, if I had to do it again with a loaded bike, I’d change my shoes to walk down. My cycling shoes are just too slippery now that they’re old.
