1 year agoLooks delicious! I agree - having an unstructured bike tour is very easy-going - - stop whenever and wherever you want or need to. :)

1 year agoI LOVE SPARGEL!!!!!! That's one big reason I did my Germany bike trip in April/May, because it is season then. I love it with the Hollandaise sauce over it!! :)
1 year agoWhen I was taking 3 separate trains to get from Frankfurt to Hann. Munden, it was tiring to roll the bike bag (which weighed 45 lbs., and I had a backpack on me that weighed 11 lbs. I can't imagine having to deal with a tandem bike! When I was waiting for my trains, I kept an eagle eye on the information board to make sure the train(s) were still coming and wouldn't change tracks. Fortunately, they didn't change track locations, but one or two were delayed. So it took almost ALL day to make the journey from Franfurt to Hann. Munden. I can certainly understand how tired you were!!!
1 year agoOh my gosh.....that's awful! Those stairs can be so hard to deal with when carting stuff! I wish all the train stations had elevators... :/
