Kathleen Classen commented on Einbeck to Seesen

This weather is so frustrating. It is 4 degrees at the moment in Annecy. Fortunately it is forecast to go up to 18 so that we be lovely for exploring the town. We have goretex jackets with hoods that fit over our helmets. The hoods make a tremendous difference when we put them up. We are so sorry to hear about Barry’s back. Best wishes that it settles down soon.

Kudos for keeping going in this cold weather! Love reading about your ride in areas where Janos and I have cycled, too!

That little grey sedan did not seem to get the memo.

Looks like you guys are having similar type weather to what we are having. Forecast for tomorrow on our way to Geneva is 3 degrees in the morning topping out at 8 degrees in the afternoon. Those hot showers or baths are total bliss at the end of the day. Really enjoying following along with you guys. Safe travels! Summer is just around the corner.

Kathleen Classen commented on Gutersloh - a place of friendly people

We are really enjoying following along. We had a similar day today in terms of people. Just so many kind, interested and lovely people.

What a tour! Love it that you are enjoying Germany so much. I don't know how you survived your train and bike experience - all those stairs with your heavy rig!

This almost qualifies as a torte, but whatever it is it sure looks yummy.

Hi
Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear that both of you are suffering with colds. Last year with a month left to go, I got a bad cold in Italy which turned out to be pneumonia and we still had the Alps to go. Do take care.
Re: collage. We use Fotor which we download free from the App Store. We also use Live Collage but we seem to prefer Fotor. There are many free ones on the App Store. If you need help, let us know. Happy travels. Enjoying following your journal.

Keith and I really like how you put several pictures in a collage, as it were. I tried to do it in iPhoto and was a fail, so I have downloaded an app and made my first attempt tonight but wasn’t thrilled with it. Can you tell me how you do it, or what app you use, if you use one? Many, many thanks.

A front wheel is easier to remove/replace than a rear!
