Good thing your wheel rims survived the bike trip - no fun having a blown rim....especially out in the middle of nowhere!!

11 months agoI can't believe that guy, Doug Boone, was WALKING from San Diego to DC! I wonder how long it took him? I'm sure you had an interesting conversation with him...was he walking to raise money for a charity? We met a guy who had a truck chassis that was pulled by a couple of mules. He said that he could set the brakes on the chassis and the mules could STILL pull it! They were very strong.
