Interesting name; Malaspina!
Two uses in Nanaimo; Malaspina Galleries on Gabriola Isl., & of course, Malaspina College, ( before it became VIU)
It reminded me of the Oregon coat, only amped up a hundred times.

5 years agoThanks, Rachel. Sardinia is casting its spell over us. It is so different from Sicily, even though both are part of Italy. Today, we visited Su Naraxi near Barumini....itβs mind blowing to learn about the history here. Hope your travels are going well too. Maybe we will see you in Victoria later this summer.

All the photos with explanations; so enjoyable to read, as we follow your trip! ππ
beautiful beach! white sand/pebbles, with dark brown/grey sargassum! Looks identical to what we experienced in the Yucatan.
5 years agookay, so all that seaweed looks suspiciously like the masses of sargassum that is inundating the Caribbean! π₯
