It has been 15 years since we were last there. It is very pretty and well known for its faiance.
2 years agoThanks for letting us reminisce. We rode the same stage - Moustiers to Castellane - 7 years ago, but on the opposite side; and 30 years ago we rode Comp-sur-Artuby to Moustiers. One of the great routes in France.
2 years agoWow. That’s frightening.
2 years agoStunning....Stunning... Stunning!!! And I thought that the last few post were good but this exceeds everything.
2 years agoIncredable! This time last year we, & many othres, were going up the gorge on pedlos & in kayaks.
2 years agoI was wondering! It’s really a sweet and hidden place.
2 years agoAmazing! We stayed in this very b&b a couple of years ago!
2 years agoLooking good!
2 years agoYeaaayy! Whoop Whoop Whoop!!! Grab a pair of white shirts with red spots, you deserve them! You know we would have sprayed you with something fizzy if we'd been in the area :-)
You must be really happy now - all is going well on the trip and the bulk of the miles are behind you; you had a perfect day of weather for Ventoux (and you made it); and now you can simply enjoy the remaining days without the back-of-your-mind worry of what Ventoux might bring.
Have a GREAT few days - oh and keep drinking 66Euro wine whenever you can blag a free sample...
This is a photo of man really looking forward to his food. You won't be hungry after that, you deserve it. Congratulations
2 years agoStunning Pics. We went to the summit of Ventoux several years back (by car of course!) & saw a guy going up on a unicycle. Pity that you didnt see on as it would have made your 'collection of velos' complete!
2 years agoGreat work, you guys, and great luck with the weather - chapeau! Kathy & I attempted this from Maulecene (sp.?) in 2004, also on an Erickson tandem tour, but had to abandon halfway up as Kathy was experiencing vertigo-like symptoms once we were getting above the trees. We think that those were after effects from a concussion from a tandem crash we had three months prior.
Chapeau again for your adventuresome spirits and desire to share with the rest of us! Safe and fun trip the rest of the way!
Thanks for the shoutout! Loving your journey, and of course the Lavender!!
