Looking forward to your warm adventures as I sit inside with today's high hovering around 11F here in Dayton, OH.

What happened to Dodie's new Dutch bike?

Yes, exactly! I seems like if the helmet would be faded bit it would be a better color match for the DaBrim.

The helmet has faded since these photos.

Too bad you can not get Jeannette cycling. Then surely there would be two trikes in the kitchen.

Ah yes, the power of the sun's UV is great and if you cycle a lot you really see it. Dodie had a fluorescent yellow sun shrug from Terry that eventually turned pure white. They replaced it, but the new one is fading too.

Good spotting about the forehead. Dodie claims she was still adjusting it when the candid photo was taken.

We have since also removed the visor, to be replaced by an also yellow DaBrim.

I am not allowed to bring my trike in the kitchen. Lucky you.

I have that Giro helmet too which I like a lot. Be warned that the color will fade with use. Be sure to adjust it to cover your forehead.

Hey Steve, Hi Dodie,
It's Janet and Stephen Rickey. We are back from three months of cycling in Holland, Germany, Switzerland, France and Spain! We loved the repositioning cruise from Rome Port to Fort Lauderdale and we decided to stay on the boat and sail through the Panama Canal. What a great trip!
We are here in the northwest and we've just purchased our own electric bikes and they are AWESOME! Looking forward to following you down the peninsula. So good to see you here. Janet

Hi Michel, this will be my first reply to a comment on Cycleblaze. I'm curious to see how it works.

Actually it is quite a bit warmer in Nantes right now than here, and even Frankfurt is lots warmer. Even so, we will scrape the frost off the van and take our bikes today to the Kinsol Trestle, on the Trans Canada Trail. Even if there is no snow on the path, I predict we will only last a short while.
