Enjoyed reading your entries as we have planned to tour the Rhone in Sept/Oct of this year (2023). Nice to see the bike paths in your photos!

Hi Rich and Robyn,
I have heard through the CycleBlaze grapevine that you will be in Munich in August. I hope that's not just a rumor. If it fits in with your plans, it would be lovely if you felt like getting in touch. My email: suzannegibsonatarcordotde

Thanks for taking us along, Rich. Hope to see you on the road again soon. Langueduc or the Camargue?

You have certainly whet my appetite for touring in France again, and for the Via Rhona! I hope the train ride and picking up your car and then the bikes went smoothly.

One line goes to Marseilles and Nice, the other to Montpellier and Spain. The TGV was voted recently as the most impressive engineering development made in France.

I’ve always assumed they were for support - sort of like flying buttresses on gothic churches - but I really don’t know.
