2 years agoThose uphill gravel climbs in the heat are real killers, aren't they. We did one today and then opted for road riding in traffic. Figured if we were going to die it may as well be by a car as from heat exhaustion.
2 years agoLooks like maybe a hayfield (meadow) with flowers and herbs to make sweet and nutritious milk.
2 years agoLooks very much like the system Dodie used in her first job (1967) after high school. Brings back so many memories, fond and otherwise.

2 years agoStein am Rhine one of my favourite places. It is where Lyle and I decided to only eat cake for the day! LOL One way or another a beautiful town.
2 years agoStein am Rhein is really pretty, but a cycle through to have a look should be fine. Enjoy all there is to see near the Bodensee.
2 years agoEuropeans are much less concerned with public modesty, and will strip to the buff to change in and out of swimsuits, to dry off clothes, etc, as you discovered.
2 years agoThe bike lanes are nice and so well kept. The separate lanes are something that Toronto could much from.

2 years agoThis is just “standing on hot pavement” and “hope my socks dry out” after the heavy rains we went through.
