Is the barn crooked or is that the angle of the photo taken

Yeah, the impact of Covid on small towns is disastrous and very sad. I gotta tell you Ian, your blog has become my daily go to activity and can’t wait to see the next post or the picture you publish! Did not know you had a fetish for barns😂 till tomorrow!

In between all that beautiful scenery and the many kind people you have met along the way you witness first hand the negative impact that Covid has had on towns across America ……so sad 😔
On a selfish note I hope you guys continue to find the occasional active groceries /restaurants/bike shops 👍

Good luck on the hills today …you do kinda love the hills though 😉☺️

Whooo, a long day for sure. But now you are in Grand County (or darn close to it). I think you will like the segment from John Day to Baker (although I have never been over the renovated hwy 7). Not too many barns from Prairie City until you drop back into the flatlands approaching Baker.

Thanks Beautiful. Wait are we supposed to shower? Does it still count as a shower if we don’t use soap? So I have to wash my hair too? Oh wait, I don’t have any.

Good to see a report from you, I was getting a little worried about where you were, and if you were OK (but I did not bug Michele about it). Factoid about Sisters: one of the most renown acoustic guitar maker's in the country has a shop is in Sister. His name is Preston Thompson (he passed a few years ago, but his crew continues to build Thompson guitars). Are you headed toward US 26? As a child, I lived in eastern Oregon; our almost annual vacation was to drive down 26 to Prineville, then over to the coast via Sisters and McKenzie pass. Great memories. I am rambling, but maybe it takes your mind off of the task at hand for a few minutes.
