Hi Scott. Thanks for writing. It was a beautiful ride. We are in Larrau now and it’s pretty socked in at the moment. We are heading over the Col de Curutcheta today and into St. Jean Pied de Port. Hopefully it clears up. And, we are envious of you. You guys truly are amazing.
5 years agoHey, Patrick! Have I mentioned yet that I’m starting to get envious of you two? First Lescun, and now this. The ride from Sainte Engrace to Larrau has been on my ride wish list for many years but somehow we never managed to fit it in. I can’t wait to see & hear all about it.
5 years agoHi David, I also enjoyed following along with you guys. Good advice on the food front. You both know how it is. Cheers.
5 years agoThanks for the research Bill. Much appreciated.

5 years agoSo glad to see you guys are back at it again... love your journals every summer
5 years agoGlad you arrived safely. She looks remarkably wide awake here. Good luck on getting your missing gear back!
5 years agoHi Scott. We began to collect stickers of the big cols we climbed a couple of years ago. We collected a lot on the 2017 French Alps tour that was inspired by you two! Not sure we will collect any on this trip as we will be going over some "minor" climbs. Seems like only the cols above 2000m get sticker recognition.

5 years agoHI Scott. Again. I thank you for bringing this region to our attention....From your journal, it sounds pretty incredible.
5 years agoYou’re going to Lescun! Such an amazing place. I’ll enjoy seeing it again.
5 years agoThanks Scott. I am not sure we have the same gumption as you two to live the homeless cycle vagabond lifestyle. You both are the exception to the norm. And, I mean that in the most respectful, honorable and awe-inspired way. You two are freaks. I like freaks.
5 years agoOh, no! I’m so sorry to hear about your flood. See, though - there are advantages to being homeless.
