Oh my goodness, just amazing. The colour! Love these pictures. You two are looking so good as well. Young and fit.
6 years agoThis is a potential award-winning picture. You should enter it somewhere. Just spectacular!
6 years agoSo glad you enjoyed it. It feels like one of the most remarkable places we’ve been. I’ve been mentally penciling future tours that would start or end there ever since we left.
6 years agoThanks...How sweet! It was quite the day ... with the wind, trucks that caught Kathleen’s attention, the horses, the elusive hotel, late dinner and then the tired blogger. Some days you never know what to expect... thats all part of the fun. Its been fun following you guys and certainly fun to meet you in New Zealand last February. Have a great trip home. Envy you guys having spring summer around the corner.
Keith
Had felt a bit concerned when you didn't post last night but you made it!

6 years agoWow. The light is good too. Often it is hard to see the keyboard. I also like the mirror just on the side. Nothing freaks me more than facing a mirror (seeing the scary guy in there!).
6 years agoGood work spelling Ljubljana. Google Translate was not even willing to say it to me in Slovenian!
Are you saying you will hop on the AA and go back to Villach, then Munich?
Very interesting masonry!

6 years agoThat is so funny. Us too. We are such city kids we didn’t know and found it fascinating. A bit alarming how much plastic is involved too.
6 years agoViews like this are so easy to admire at about 7 kph. One of the benefits of climbing...lots of time to look around.
