Thanks Jane for following along!!! At the airport now waiting for flight to Berlin. Hope to see you this summer...a bike ride to Mayne Island for a visit is always fun. Hi to your sidekick!
5 years agoYour wonderful trip is coming to an end but you will come home to such good weather. It has been too hot on occasion and we do need
rain. Enjoy your trip once again to Berlin.....and also coming home
to birthday celebrations and then a wedding. Doesn't get any better
than that. I will miss your blog when you are home.....but you will
go again.
Safe flight....hugs Jane and her sidekick Al
Hopefully not too interesting. Flights should be boring. Good luck!
5 years agoWe carry Croc flip flops (light and comfortable). I didn’t think to put them on until I hit pebbles halfway across and I wasn’t going back. The return trip without the bike to lean on was ouch ouch! Out came the Crocs for carrying the panniers across. I carried mine one at a time. It was fun. You never know what to expect, do you?
5 years agoWe have new babies to meet in Berlin and good friends to visit. It will be a whirlwind trip, but I will get to hold a baby which is such a precious gift. See you very soon!
5 years agoWe fly home Friday. Safe flights and a successful conclusion to your tour to you and Rachael. We are really looking forward to meeting you in Victoria. We will fine tune the details once we are both home 😀.

5 years agoThey entertained us for 20 minutes or so. They had their floating nest just a few feet below the bridge. It was fascinating watching them tend and feed the young ones. Nature truly is amazing.

Have you ever got that right! Welcome home. We are sitting in the airport now, victims of my desire to allow way too much time. Who knew security would take all of two minutes? Swiss organization 👍.
