Steve Miller/Grampies commented on Day 9: Valladolid to Ek Balam (and back)

Pedro says my gorilla strength can not break them. Sounds promising! But we will also put 1.75s on - better for Portugal cobbles (if Omicron let's us go)

Bruce would have stolen that sign for his "bizarre bathroom signs" collection.

Something to consider for your tool kit. I’ve never been defeated by mounting or removing these 20x1.5 Schwalbe tires since we started carrying these.

The bikes are working really well. One good thing is that we have been able to bring them into the room each time and to find a close enough plug so the battery bags do not have to be pulled off.

Because it is so flat here, we have been riding only in level 1, or even turned off. As a result the batteries have never gone much below 90% on a day. That gives a huge, but misleading, range. We need to find some hills!

There are always the Dutch cargo bikes, but somehow the ones heee seem much larger and more useful.

Wouldn’t one of those be great for shopping, or even for taking the leaves to the recycling center in the fall. I want one!

Tiger rat snake. Caught one in Trinidad about 7 ft - estimate.

Hi Grampies! Looks like a nice trip so far eh?! So how do you like your electrified BF’s? What kind of mileage are you getting from the LiGo’s? Are 6 batteries enough?
