4 months agoWe’ve had it before and it’s very tough and sticky when you cut it apart. Also, there’s really no calories in it so you can eat all you want and not gain weight.
4 months agoIt was by far the most challenging Dave cycle I’ve ever had in my life with the time spent on the road plus the climb and factoring in the interstate traffic although it really wasn’t a factor it was there and there was a very wide shoulder
4 months agoI found a pretty heavy duty pump that fits inside my bag. It’s a foot pump, but it works great.

4 months agoJust talked to Sheila and sounds like solutions are in work! I did 50 miles today from Latimer, MS but got rained out at the end. I called Dale for a SAG. I'm sure it's a new feeling not having locals to call on your journey. But there are good people everywhere so I'm sure you'll be back on the road soon.
4 months agoI hope you find something. I googled Barstow and bicycle and the only thing that came up was a motorcycle shop. If no luck you might try ordering from Amazon and having a pump delivered to a drop box in Barstow. As close as you are to civilization I'd bet one could be delivered next day. I've been using the Topeak mini morph pump with gauge and have been very happy with it.
