I see online it mentions that the Pinkerton Tunnel was completed in 2015, so not long after you went by it.

I rode the GAP trail on my mountain bike with regular mountain bike tires and did good. Those Surley Big Dummy bikes are HUGE!! But some people like their comfy ride.

The dense foliage along the GAP trail is really appreciated in the summer - it can cut the temperature by 10 degrees! :) And you have shelter from the intense sun.

There is a parking lot for the Duquesne Incline - it costs a few bucks to park there.

I took the short ride up on the Duquesne Incline and enjoyed the great views from the top! :)
