This is something I really love about bike travel - you don’t use places up. We’ve ridden this coast twice now and haven’t stayed in either of your last two stops. It makes me want to go back and pick up what we missed.

1 month agoAn extra rest day at the beginning of a trip when you are sick can save you a week of slogging along if you push too hard to fast. Wise decision.
2 months agoHope you feel better soon. The soup was a good find. Dodie spent 2 weeks cycling from northern France in cold and rainy weather, with a cold, looking for hot soup. Could we find any? Nnnoooo!
2 months agoWe did this about 10 years ago. It was great fun! Al was disappointed that our lesson with Surf Sisters didn't include sitting in a hot tub with the Sisters afterward, like Rick Mercer got to do. Maybe it was because Rick went in the winter?
