3 weeks agoAn extra rest day at the beginning of a trip when you are sick can save you a week of slogging along if you push too hard to fast. Wise decision.
3 weeks agoHope you feel better soon. The soup was a good find. Dodie spent 2 weeks cycling from northern France in cold and rainy weather, with a cold, looking for hot soup. Could we find any? Nnnoooo!
4 weeks agoWe did this about 10 years ago. It was great fun! Al was disappointed that our lesson with Surf Sisters didn't include sitting in a hot tub with the Sisters afterward, like Rick Mercer got to do. Maybe it was because Rick went in the winter?

My youngest daughter graduated from John Cabot U. in 2006. We spent a week there for the festivities. Our hotel room was a block or 2 from the Colosseum.
Hooray, I’ve been wondering if you’d be traveling again this fall.
