We are grateful for the shoulders in Spain, and the quiet roads, but sometimes we need to ride that six inch paint line too.

2 years agoSo glad you had a much better day - sunny and quieter roads. I almost said something about your ride to Saluzzo, because there’s a very nice, quiet route north of the one you took. In most of the area there are almost empty roads if you add a few miles and ferret them out.

2 years agoWe call Scotch mist Port Alberni dew. A windy day for us today, but warm and dry. I think it beats rain!

2 years agoOOF! It's often hard to really convey the steepness of a road in a photo but this one succeeds.
2 years agoI've never understood the popularity of Nutella. Hazelnuts and chocolate, absolutely, but I'm a label reader and the ingredient list put me off immediately.
