2 years agoI had a challenge finding accommodation in Ceva too. At one point, we were considering riding all the way through to Alba… But then I looked again much later and found something.
2 years agoI understand that they're also good at sucking water out of the soil and expelling it into the atmosphere. So they're used to dry out normally wet land along rivers. The Dutch and Belgians do this a lot, but it's done here in France, too.
2 years agoI don’t know about the fungi, but the trees are a poplar grove. Poplars are one of the most important forest products in Europe, used primarily for plywood I think. You’ll see them along many of the roadsides in northern Italy, especially along the Po.
